Port Shepstone Senior Primary says no to bullying

Learners were left with a strong reminder that a caring and respectful school community is everyone’s responsibility.

Port Shepstone Senior Primary concluded its anti-bullying campaign for Term 1 after another meaningful and impactful assembly that left learners with a lot to consider as it reinforced the importance of kindness, respect and standing up against bullying.

Constable Sakhile Nzama from Port Shepstone Saps left learners with a challenge of learning a very important quote: “Discipline is a group or individual’s attitude towards the punctual execution of orders and appropriate actions even at the absence of orders.”

It is hoped that the attention drawn to the harmful effects of bullying will be reinforced amongst learners, teachers and parents and that the school community will work together to eradicate this deplorable behaviour.

The anti-bullying campaign ended on a positive note, leaving learners with a strong reminder that a caring and respectful school community is everyone’s responsibility.

The school management maintains that this standard of discipline against bullying will be enforced throughout the academic year and that those in contravention will be held accountable for their actions.
