Fun and activities galore at Scottburgh festival

Highlights are soccer and volleyball competitions, a thunee showdown, car show, children's activities, entertainment and food stalls.

Excitement is building as ScottFest prepares to take over the Scottburgh Country Club on May 1.

The event promises to be a day filled with action-packed entertainment for people of all ages.

The event will run from 08:00 to 21:00 and will feature a variety of attractions aimed at bringing together sports lovers, families and local businesses in a lively and inclusive atmosphere.

Sports enthusiasts can look forward to a soccer tournament and a volleyball competition, both expected to draw competitive teams and enthusiastic crowds from across the region.

For those seeking a more relaxed, but equally thrilling experience, the festival will also host a Thunee Showdown, celebrating the popular traditional card game.

Car lovers will be treated to an epic car show showcasing a range of impressive and high-performance vehicles.

Meanwhile, families with young children can enjoy a dedicated area filled with children’s activities and entertainment.

A wide selection of food and drink stalls will also be available throughout the day.

Organisers say ScottFest is more than just an event – it’s a celebration of community spirit.

“We want to create a space where people can connect, have fun and support local talent and businesses,” said Jack Reddy on behalf of the team.

“With live entertainment and a packed programme, ScottFest is expected to attract large crowds and become a highlight on the local events calendar.”

Proceeds will be going to local NPOs as well, so be sure to save the date and support this community initiative.
