Wine evening a wonderful affair at Southbroom
A relaxed evening of wine, laughter and local connection brought the community together at the golf club.
A vibey, sociable evening hosted by the Don Ira Retail Group brought the community together at the Southbroom Golf Club on April 24.
The event marked the recent opening of Tops in Southbroom, now officially part of the Don Ira Retail Group.
General manager Chantell McClure said the evening gave guests the chance to meet the team, sample favourite products from across the group’s stores, and find out more about what they offer.
Attendees enjoyed a selection of wine, spirits and other beverages, while South African comedian Chris Forrest kept the full clubhouse entertained with his trademark humour.
Speaking after the event, Robin Petterson, owner of the Don Ira Group, thanked both the venue and the community for their support.
“We would like to extend a warm thank you to the Southbroom Golf Club and the community for allowing us to host the event at their beautiful venue,” he said. “We truly appreciate the support the community has shown us since we opened in Southbroom.”
