A number of residents attended the Parkinson's Awareness Day.

Residents at Renishaw Hills had a Parkinson’s Awareness Day recently.

More than 70 residents and supporters came together for a morning of education and community spirit.

The event was organised by residents, Helen and Myles Jee, and featured a 600m awareness walk supported by marshals and medical teams, followed by an insightful talk from Dr Karisha Roopnarain, specialist neurologist from Hibiscus Hospital on understanding and managing Parkinson’s Disease.

Through monthly meet-ups, members share experiences and offer support, creating lasting connections.
