Plant fair in Shelly Beach attracts many enthusiasts

A great range of plants and garden products were on sale.

Some 300 visitors enjoyed a wide variety of talks and demonstration on art techniques, exotic and indigenous plants and conservation at the South Coast Plant and Garden Fair held at St John’s Lutheran in Shelly Beach on May 30.

A variety of vendors with a great range of plants and garden products all from KwaZulu-Natal meant that everybody was able to buy something new for their garden or home.

“The delicious food and drinks supplied by St John’s Lutheran Church was a real hit and Daniel The Piano Man made the atmosphere delightful. The highlight was gardeners, growers and collectors coming together to share their passion for all things green and taking away new knowledge and ideas as well as seeing the quality of plants available locally,” said organiser Ruth Mathias.
