Shark expert to bust myths at Bendigo Conservancy talk

Jeremy Cliff will share his knowledge and insights into shark behaviour, conservation and the challenges facing shark populations.

The Bendigo Conservancy is inviting residents to learn more about one of the ocean’s most misunderstood predators at a special presentation on Sunday, July 19.

Retired Sharks Board scientist, Jeremy Cliff, will present a talk titled: Sharks, More Threatened than Threatening – at Mbango Retirement Village from 14:00.

The presentation will explore the important role sharks play in marine ecosystems while addressing common misconceptions surrounding the animals. Drawing on years of experience, Cliff will share his knowledge and insights into shark behaviour, conservation and the challenges facing shark populations.

Bookings are essential and should be made with Dee on 071 8662129 by Friday, July 17.
