Christmas in July to bring festive fun to Melville

Visitors can also browse the flea market and car boot sale, enjoy food stalls, watch belly dancers and clairvoyants, and relax to live music.

Families can enjoy a festive day out when the Sanctuary of Love hosts its Santa’s Enchanted Garden Quest in Melville on July 25.

The Christmas in July event takes place from 09:00 to 15:00 at 68/69 Beach Road, Melville, which encourages children to connect with nature.

Young visitors can explore the vegetable garden with guides, join a treasure hunt, enjoy face painting, balloons and storytelling, and search for hidden fairy characters among the plants.

Catch musician Colin Abood live.

Each child will receive a free educational colouring book about sunflowers, take home the fairy they discover, and receive a plant to nurture.

Visitors can also browse the flea market and car boot sale, enjoy food stalls, watch belly dancers and clairvoyants, and relax to live music by Dave Freese, Oscar Rorvik, Colin Abood, Ian Stewart and Ley Payne.

About 30 children are expected to attend, and early booking is encouraged.
