Mega slide mania delights families

Families enjoyed a fun-filled day of giant slides, colourful characters and laughter when Mega Slide Mania rolled into the Port Shepstone Country Club on July 18.
Children spent hours racing down inflatable slides, including two water slides, while younger visitors enjoyed the jumping castle.

Coco the Upside Down Clown, Sparkle the Unicorn and Roary the Dinosaur also kept families entertained.
The event, organised by Tidy Towns Sea Park to Banana Beach, may not have attracted the same crowd as the previous event held in November, but organiser Cindy Baker was grateful for the community’s support.

“It was an amazing day. Not as busy as our November one in the hot sun, but we are so thankful to those who supported it, and the children had such fun on the slides,” said Cindy.
She added that the popular attraction will return later this year.

“We will have the slides again during the December holidays,” she added.
