Family and friends of missing teenager Rihanna Jaffari from Pelican Road, Albersville are appealing for the public’s help to locate her.
Rihanna (15) was last seen on her way to Port Shepstone Islamic School on August 26 at about 07:15. She was wearing the school’s navy blue uniform with a black full pardah.
She was carrying a multi-coloured/blueish school bag. She did not reach school, has not returned home, and there has been no contact with her at all.
Members of the Albersville Ratepayers’ Association and Albersville Community Policing Forum have been searching for her.
“Unfortunately, the leads we have received so far have not yielded any positive results. We are appealing to residents living near the intersection of Albersville and Pelican roads who have security cameras that might have captured footage of the area. We are looking for footage from 07:20 to 07:30. A few minutes of footage could provide a valuable lead and assist us in locating the missing girl,” said Sal Musa from the ratepayers’ association.
If you have camera footage, call 078-423-9253 or 083-501-5094.
A missing person’s case has been opened for investigation at Port Shepstone police station. Contact the investigating officer, Captain Dube, on 082-417-7069 or Crime Stop on 08600 10111.
