The Santa Shoebox Project aims to bring Christmas joy to children in need.

An event will be held at Southcoast Mall, where the public can drop off their shoeboxes to support the project.

The drop-off will take place on Friday, November 6, from 09:00 to 16:00, and on Saturday, November 7, from 09:00 to 17:00.

The project allows donors to choose a child and fill a shoebox with carefully selected gifts and essentials, giving children the opportunity to experience the excitement of receiving a Christmas gift.

The project’s message this year is ‘I remember feeling chosen’ and encourages people to make a child feel special during the festive season.
