Wild Coast Sun turns 45

The evening featured live performances by Zain SA, 047, Tender Mavundla and Andiswa.

The Wild Coast Sun pulled out all the stops with music, entertainment and festivities at its Molo 45th birthday celebration on October 3.

The milestone event brought guests and media together for an evening headlined by South African music legends Mafikizolo.

Before the celebrations began, members of the media enjoyed a fun-filled game of padel on the resort’s relatively new courts, with plenty of laughs and friendly competition.

At the cake-cutting ceremony, general manager Henry Tshegetso Boekhouer said the resort was celebrating a legend built on decades of memories.

“We are celebrating a legend. There are a lot of memories, and some of our customers have grown up at the resort and are now customers themselves. We look ahead to another 100 years,” he said.

The evening featured live performances by Zain SA, 047, Tender Mavundla and Andiswa.

The celebrations continued into the early hours at Molo Lounge, where South African DJ and music legend Oskido took over the decks for the official after-party, joined by Ndokzin, Dacoda and Mzoh.

The Molo 45 celebrations continue throughout October, with entertainment and special offers across the resort.
