Marsec learners recognised for excellence

Learners have been involved in pattern making.

Marburg Secondary learners have been involved in a Skills Learning Programme since 2019.

Thirty learners have successfully completed a pattern making course facilitated by Rona Singh and funded by SETA.

School coordinator, Marlene Naicker said that Rona passionately shared her knowledge, skill and expertise unselfishly with learners.

Celeste Shozi (winner), Siphesihle Xelithole (second position) and Junior Shange (third position) were recognised for their outstanding performance and excellence. They received a cash award of R6000.

Celeste also receives a free instruction course on Lectra Pattern System. Her original paper pattern will be digitized and manufactured.

The school principal, Colin Govender, members of the SGB and staff of Marsec thank the funder, sponsors and facilitator.
