Learning to code

Learners will benefit from teacher training held at Khula

The Khula Community Creche team had two training sessions on using Lego resources for Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) development via Zoom recently.

Ally Minnar, manager at the creche said the teachers also learned how to use Lego for coding, the process of assigning a code to something for classification identification.

“These resources and activities can be used for all our children at Khula, starting with our two-year-olds in the creche and up to the Grade 7 class in the afternoon. What fun the team had using Lego to build different objects,” said Minaar.
