Cornerstone educator attends autism workshop

The workshop provided, aided and unaided communication strategies to support our autistic children.

Kayley Minnaar, an educator from Cornerstone Learning Centre attended ‘The Action in Autism Skills’ workshop in Durban.

Communication provides us with the skills to express needs, wants and share information.
Often autistic children are unable to communicate effectively and struggle to understand language and non-verbal cues and this creates a barrier to learning.

The workshop provided, aided and unaided communication strategies to support our autistic children, to be able to have a life where they can interact, express, and learn.
