Creston learners ‘get dirty’ for good causes

The school is proud of Interact learners, who were proactive and well-mannered.

A special ceremony was held at assembly at Crestone College, as the Grade 11s issued out matric dance invitations to the class of 2023. It was such an exciting moment.

The SANBS set up in the school hall and received 38 units of blood. Thank you to every person for being a part of the blood donation community.

A group of Interact members joined Tidy Towns and cleaned up a beach in St Mike’s, while another group volunteered in assisting in clean up tasks, sorting doggie jerseys, exhausting the small dogs with lots of exercise, and giving the puppies and kittens lots of cuddles at the Lower South Coast SPCA last weekend.

The school is proud of these Interact learners, who were proactive, well-mannered, and willing to ‘get dirty’ for a good cause.

The College Phase played sport against Scottburgh. The first team netball girls won 20-9, and the second team won 3-2. The first team hockey girls won 9-0 with Slondiwe Ndwalane scoring a hat-trick. The U15 boys’ rugby lost 0-5 after a tough match.

Daniel Davies, in Grade 7 at Creston College played five tennis matches last weekend, and won all five. He has been selected to play on the Ugu team to represent Ugu District tennis. This year, Daniel has represented the Ugu District in hockey, cricket, cross-country and now tennis.
