Positive start at Izotsha
Schools were forced to close early on the first day due to heavy rain.
Despite the rain and inclement weather, the first day of school got off to a positive start, with an absolute buzz as learners arrived at their respective corridors at Izotsha Primary School.
Learners were all eager to see whose class they would be in, as well as see friends whom they hadn’t seen for a while. Sadly, there was heavy rain and the learners were unable to gather on the playground at break times.
The weather declined and the Department of Education issued an instruction for all schools in KZN to close early, on the first day.
Learners all have their timetables and school is now in full swing with swimming heats for the intermediate and senior phases being completed during the PE periods. Parent information evenings will take place during this week for all grades.
