The excitement was tangible as children arrived at Southcity Christian Schools last Thursday morning, as East Coast Radio (ECR) was broadcasting.
The campus was alive with yellow and red (and a lot of blue), and the children were desperate to meet the breakfast team of Darren Maule, Sky Tshabalala and Carmen Reddy.
A learner, Imibongo Mapholoba, entered the ‘Back to school kids quick quiz edition’ on the ECR Breakfast Show.
During the show, she participated in the quiz and got a perfect score of 10 out of 10. Southcity is very proud of Imi and the school definitely showed their spirit with the school war-cry being led by the spirit leader. ‘Our blood is blue’.
