Hlanganani enjoys competitive frog hunt
Hlanganani also acknowledges and thanks its estate staff.
Hlanganani Preparatory celebrated Leap Day with a frog hunt on February 29. It was a very competitive hunt, but it was enjoyed by all the learners as they discovered hidden frogs around the school. The learners wore green civvies too.
Bheki Shezi, who is a road crossing guard, visited the school last Friday to remind learners how to cross the road safely. He explained to them that his job is to help all learners cross the road. He is stationed at the robot to regulate traffic, slow down vehicles and stop drivers from entering the crosswalk to ensure that children have enough room to cross the road safely, especially during load shedding.
The school appreciates Bheki for ensuring its learners, as well as learners from other schools in the area, are safe as they cross the national road.
Hlanganani acknowledges and thanks its estate staff who keep classrooms and bathrooms clean, repair any equipment that needs fixing and ensure the gardens and surroundings are beautiful. The school would not look as lovely as it does without them.
