Swim meets round off term at Jai Hind

Learners were passionate about their swimming.

Jai Hind Primary hosted its annual swimming gala for the intermediate and senior phase learners recently.

The event was a success with many participants swimming freestyle, breaststroke, butterfly and backstroke.
A large contingent of parents and well-wishers joined the school and supported loudly for their favourite swimmers. The competition was fierce and determined learners gave their best efforts.

Every moment was a testament to the dedication and passion of the learners who had eagerly trained for their races. Medals were awarded to the top three winners in each age category.

The foundation phase hosted their annual swim-a-thon too.

The fundraiser swim-a-thon is the highlight of the term one calendar and aims at developing the junior learners’ skills. The learners had a fun-filled day and received a delicious treat for their sterling efforts.
