Merlewood Secondary honours top achievers

Among the top achievers were Sinelitha Mdze (Grade 8), Muhle Gcaba (Grade 9), Asanele Mzamo (Grade 10), Lunje Zangwa (Grade 11) and Isenathi Ndzoboyi (Grade 12).

Merlewood Secondary was alight with pride and celebration as learners, teachers, and senior management gathered for the first-term awards ceremony.

Recognising the top achievers from Grades 8 to 12, the event organised by the awards committee honoured the top 5 in Grades 8-11 and the top 10 in Grade 12, alongside subject-specific awards.

Among the top achievers were Sinelitha Mdze (Grade 8), Muhle Gcaba (Grade 9), Asanele Mzamo (Grade 10), Lunje Zangwa (Grade 11) and Isenathi Ndzoboyi (Grade 12).

Learners were applauded as they received their awards, with principal Thoko Nqoko commending their dedication and passion for learning.

The ceremony highlighted the school’s commitment to academic achievement and the collective spirit of excellence among its students.
