Barracuda victorious at PS Senior Primary’s gala

Learners have begun their extra-mural programme for term two.

Port Shepstone Senior Primary was buzzing with energy last week as learners gathered for the annual inter-house swimming gala.

The competition was intense as Marlin, Garrick and Barracuda houses battled it out in the pool. The event was a great success with a strong turnout from learners and parents who came to show their support.

The atmosphere was electric as swimmers from each house gave their all in every race.

In the end, Barracuda emerged victorious, claiming the overall win while Garrick took home the Spirit Cup, showing great sportsmanship and team spirit throughout the event.

The term kicked off with successful parent/teacher meetings, where parents viewed their children’s work and discussed their academic progress.

The extra-mural programme has also begun, with a range of winter sporting codes on offer.
