Southcity applauds swimming champ

Alex-Zandré Labuschagne, a learner at Southcity Christian School, has made waves in the swimming world with a phenomenal achievement.

She qualified for the prestigious South African Senior Nationals in Gqeberha last weekend, highlighting her exceptional talent and dedication.

Alex-Zandré also qualified for the South African Junior Nationals held at Kings Park in Durban in March. Her outstanding performance at the junior nationals saw her reach the finals in three events and secure first and second reserve positions in two others, which underscores her prowess.

Her success is a testament to her relentless hard work and the support she receives at the school. Her achievements not only inspire her peers but also showcase the school’s commitment to fostering athletic excellence alongside academic success.
