Izotsha’s sports stars shine

Targets have almost been reached for the Khula Gogo Project.

Izotsha Primary‘s netball, hockey and rugby teams participated in a Winter Sports Day hosted by Creston College last Saturday.

The U13A netball girls have continued to play exceptionally well, with determination and pride winning all six of their games.

The U13A rugby boys played with grit and determination, winning one out of three matches.

The U13 hockey girls played well, winning one game, drawing two games and losing one game.

The U11A hockey girls played well, winning all four of their matches.

The U11A netball girls showed improvement, winning two matches, drawing one and losing one.

The school is currently participating in an outreach programme – toiletries and treats have been collected to place into goodie bags for the Khula Gogo Project. Targets have almost been reached and the goodie bags will be made up and completed this week.
