Young leaders work together at PS Secondary
Team building for these young leaders aimed to foster collaboration, communication and trust among peers through structured activities.

Port Shepstone Secondary’s Representative Council of Learners (RCL) from Grades 8 to 12 participated actively in an exhilarating team-building afternoon at school last Tuesday.
Team building for these young leaders aimed to foster collaboration, communication and trust among peers through structured activities. The intention is to develop social skills, leadership qualities and empathy while promoting a sense of belonging and unity within a group.
Through these experiences, children learnt the value of cooperation, problem-solving and respecting differences, laying a foundation for positive relationships and effective teamwork in their future endeavours.
These activities were facilitated by the talented and efficient RCL teacher liaison officers.
An English speech contest was recently held at the school. The winners for each grade are Zime Zondi (Grade 8), Thandolwethu Zuke (Grade 9), Lishendren Govender (Grade 10), Shaista Shaik (Grade 11) and Vuyo Dzingwa (Grade 12).
