Hlanganani’s netball teams are winners

Well done to all learners.

Hlanganani Preparatory had a fun, crazy socks day last Friday. Learners enjoyed the day with plenty of colourful, silly and fun socks, which encouraged self-expression and boosted their self-confidence.

The Grade 2s made beautiful cards for Mother’s Day.

Sihle Mpofana, Siyanda Gigaba and Oluhle Nzuke were chosen as the top three in Grade 4 in a reading competition hosted by the Port Shepstone Library. They now compete against other schools at the library.

The Port Shepstone Library team (back, from left) Menzi Makhaye, Bongiwe Gumede, Tholakele Latha, Phindile Malinga and Thabo Nhlumayo, with top readers Oluhle Nzuke, Sihle Mpofana and Siyanda Gigaba in front.

Learners attended a thrilling Winter Sports Day at Suid-Natal Primary, where the U11 and U13 girls’ netball teams showed great teamwork and dedication, winning their matches in both divisions.

The volleyball teams attended an Ugu District selection at Marburg Sports Ground recently. Luthando Zulu was selected to represent the Ogwini U14 girls volleyball team, while Judah Moloi was selected for the U14 boys.
