Creston’s performances captivate

A lot happened before the school holidays.

Curro Salt Rock hosted the inaugural KZN Curro school choirs’ concert ‘Melodic Waves: Choir Extravaganza’ recently, which featured performances from Creston‘s High school choir and Marimba Band.

Open to the public, Creston College captivated the audience with ‘Weeping’, ‘You are my Universe’ and a ‘Fireworks’ medley. The combined choir pieces, involving over 300 learners from the various KZN Curro schools, was spectacular.

Other school highlights included a Career Dress-Up Day for Group 5s, where children dressed as their future aspirations.

The Mighty Men Event, celebrating Father’s Day, was a hit with dads and father figures in the Junior Primary Phase.

Grade 3s enjoyed a visit to Margate Airport Fire Station and Indulgenz Gelato as part of their fire and ice theme this term.

Grade 1s brought pets to school to end their pet theme, and Junior Primary parents viewed their children’s books.

Eaglecrest Interact visited the SPCA, delivering 144kg of food, which was collected, and the subject choice information evening provided crucial guidance for Grade 9 learners.
