Hlanganani triumphs at cross-country

The school also went on an excursion last Thursday.

Hlanganani Preparatory‘s cross-country runners participated in the Southcity inter-school cross-country event last Wednesday.

The top runners in their age group are Slindokuhle Mpinge – U7 girls, Anothe Zamaxaka – U8 boys, Sbongakonke Mncunu – U11 boys, Aphile Mzelemu – U11 girls, Okuhle Mpana – U12 boys and Sinenhlanhla Gasa – U14 girls.

The school went on an excursion last Thursday. Different grades visited different places for the day.

Grades R and 1 enjoyed a treat at Butterfly Valley, while Grade 2 went to Riverbend Crocodile Farm, and Grade 3 went to Mac Banana.

Grade 4 and 7 learners enjoyed the Wild Water Park at the Wild Coast Sun, and Grades 5 and 6 visited Ushaka Marine World.

All had a fun day out with their teachers, who are thanked for ensuring they had a wonderful day and returned home safely.
