Hero awards for St Martin’s

These learners have shown exceptional acts of emotional intelligence and have truly become heroes in the eyes of their peers and teachers.

At St Martin de Porres Comprehensive School, a handful of learners were recently presented with Pick n Pay Hero Awards.

Well done to Ovayo Vikilahle (Grade 1A – deaf), Welile Kwela (Grade 2A – deaf), Simphiwenyinkosi Kalonga (Grade 2 Year 2), Smekahle Cele (Grade 3 Year 1), Sfundo Mjwara (Grade 6 ID Senior Phase), Vuyolwethu Sonjica (Grade 6 ID Senior Phase), Emilhe Ntakana (Grade 7A – deaf), Esethu Gqamane (Grade 6A – deaf) and Njabulo Mazeka (Grade 10A – deaf).

These learners have shown exceptional acts of emotional intelligence and have truly become heroes in the eyes of their peers and teachers.

The school is grateful to Pick n Pay and Rushani Ramsaroop for recognising and celebrating these learners.
