PS Secondary shines in English Olympiad
Learners began their preparations in 2023 and put in sterling efforts.
Port Shepstone Secondary had 25 learners from Grades 10-12 write the De Beers English Olympiad examination in March this year.
This is a prestigious annual literary competition for high schools. Learners began their preparations in 2023 and put in sterling efforts.
Of the 25 that enrolled, two obtained gold certificates (A aggregate) and three obtained silver certificates (B aggregate).
Entries are currently open for 2025 for the 50th National English Olympiad. The closing date is September 20, and the cost is R120 per candidate.
