Three talented learners from Marburg Primary participated in the Ugu District Grade 7 technology competition organised by the Department of Education.
The team secured third position, earning them a place in the upcoming regional competition.
In addition, Andiswa Cebisa and Sipheshile Mtshali were recognised as runners-up, impressively scoring 19 out of 20.
Congratulations to the learners, and a special thanks to their teachers, Pravesh Sinanden (Technology) and Shanie Sookoo (EMS), for their guidance and support.
The school also held its market day programme recently, a key event in the EMS curriculum.
This annual event provided learners with a hands-on opportunity to put their entrepreneurial skills to the test.
The school grounds were transformed into a bustling open market where learners eagerly bought and sold goods and novelty items, all crafted by the budding Grade 7 entrepreneurs.
Co-ordinators Shanie Sookoo and Thuladu Patience Memela thanked parents, learners and staff for their support.
