Jai Hind develops cricket skills

There will be focus on building fundamental cricketing skills, particularly in batting and bowling.

Jai Hind Primary has partnered with Ben Mlamba, a renowned coach from the KwaZulu-Natal Cricket Union, to develop cricket talent among its learners.

Mlamba is a seasoned coach with years of experience who has played an important role in nurturing young cricket talent across the region. His expertise and dedication to youth development are now being shared with the learners.

Mlamba provides specialised coaching to children between the ages of seven and 10. His sessions focus on building fundamental cricketing skills, particularly in batting and bowling.

The school is thrilled to offer its learners this unique opportunity to learn from one of the best in the field.

It is hoped that this coaching activity will inspire the next generation of cricketers and promote the values of teamwork, discipline and sportsmanship.

The school was recently visited by KZN cricket officials to further support and promote cricket development for both male and female learners.

Teacher Ivan Govender also attended a seminar designed to promote mini-cricket.

Learners from Grades 4 to 7 have received examination timetables for final examinations scheduled for November.
