Jai Hind prioritises personal hygiene for girls

Thulile Mqadi, a representative from Ziphakamisa spoke to the girls on important aspects of personal care.

Jai Hind Primary continues to emphasize holistic development, with a recent focus on educating young female learners about personal hygiene and self-care.

Last week, the school hosted a visit from Thulile Mqadi, a representative from Ziphakamisa, as part of their ongoing programme.

During the visit, Mqadi addressed all female learners from Grades 5 to 7. She discussed important aspects of self-care and personal hygiene.

The session included an interactive question and answer period, where learners actively asked insightful questions. Mqadi responded with professionalism, alleviating the girls’ insecurities and fears surrounding hygiene practices.

The initiative affirms the school’s commitment to empowering young girls with the knowledge and confidence to take care of their personal well-being.
