PS Islamic excels in Olympiad
About a thousand learners participated in this annual Olympiad which draws participants from around the province.
At Port Shepstone Islamic School, Grade 5 learner Hannah Moolla and Grade 6 learner Rehana Jaffar did the school proud when they earned first and second positions in their respective categories in the Association of Muslim Schools Islamic Olympiad.
Close to a thousand learners participated in this annual Olympiad, which draws participants from throughout the province.
The contest, which is written by learners in Grades 4, 5, 6 and 7, tests learners’ knowledge of Islamic Jurisprudence, history and current affairs.
