With eager anticipation, Siyanda Mbili (15) and Jaiden Maharaj (16) simply could not wait to try their homemade marshmallows in a cooking class at the CS Skills Centre.

The centre provides a variety of practical skills-based classes, and these two boys particularly enjoy learning to cook.

Jaiden often takes the recipes they have learnt and makes them at home for his family to enjoy. Siya is a culinary enthusiast who loves to experience new flavours, and he enjoys tasting the dishes they create together.

Jaiden is a gentle and caring young man who is always kind and helpful to those around him. His enthusiasm for life and his positive energy are an inspiration to all at school, and he is much loved by both students and staff alike.

Siya is known for his brilliant smile and passion for helping others. He often goes out of his way to assist someone both at school and in his community. He loves playing soccer, and he is an avid surfer. Siya shows dedication to practising and improving his sporting abilities.

Both boys bring an infectious joy with them to school on a daily basis.
