Three learners from St. Martin de Porres School represented Ugu District in gymnastics at national level.
This took place in Pretoria in December last year.
All nine provinces competed, and Ugu scooped 12 gold medals, of which Oluhle Mbele won three gold, Elihle Mdujana six gold and one silver, and Sisekelo one bronze.
KZN placed second overall.
Coaches Siphelele Gumede and Anusha Harriparsad are proud of their learners’ achievements.
