PE Primary appoints prefects

The learners are wished well.

Port Edward Primary is proud of some of its Grade 7 learners who were selected as prefects for 2025 at last year’s prizegiving ceremony.

The school looks forward to watching the prefects’ leadership skills blossom.

The first week of term one at Port Edward Primary kicked off to a happy and productive start.

The staff was thrilled to welcome back old learners, as well as many new faces and families.

Last week saw the start of the school’s extra-mural programme, with great turn-outs by budding swimmers and cricketers alike as learners train and prepare for a full term of fixtures and galas.

A definite highlight of the week has been the first round of isiZulu First Additional Language classes for Grade 1-5 learners, with teacher Troy Hlongwa in her smart, new classroom.
