Coaches have been preparing learners, emphasising the importance of rules and proper swimming attire. Coaches have also ensured that learners are aware of vital lifesaving behaviour when using beaches, pools and dams.

Learners across all grades have received their exercise books, and intermediate and senior phases have been issued textbooks.
