Teacher extraordinaire inspires PSSP

The senior learners at Port Shepstone Senior Primary were honoured by a guest speaker and teacher extraordinaire at a recent assembly.
Teddy Moodley, now happily retired after 38 profitable and memorable years of teaching and mentoring, encouraged learners to become successful through their studies.
He reminded each learner to focus during lessons, revise and review their work and also prepare adequately to achieve success in life.
At the same assembly, the Girl Guides who attend the school commemorated World Thinking Day, which coincided with the birthdays of the movement’s founders.
This celebration serves as a reminder of their commitment and pledge to create a better world for others. The Girl Guides were also allowed to wear their uniforms.
Two learners enlightened everyone on the significance of the celebration and encouraged girls to join.
The school looks forward to a few more exciting events as well as the term one tests before closure.
