Thrills at Sheppie High’s Mash-Up

Hockey, netball and rugby was showcased.

The atmosphere was electric at Port Shepstone High as the annual Mash-Up tournament kicked off, bringing together talented athletes from South City, Creston College and Suid-Natal.

The tournament consisted of pre-season matches in hockey, netball and rugby, showcasing a high level of passion and skill from all participating schools.

The last leg of the pre-season Mash-Up was a tough one, with nail-biting competition.

Results are: Netball vs Suid-Natal – 11-32 (loss); hockey vs Suid-Natal – 3-2 (win); first team rugby vs Suid-Natal – 17-11 (loss) and second team rugby vs Suid-Natal – 29-3 (loss).

The hockey team’s victory was a highlight of the day, showcasing their skill and teamwork. Despite the final scores, teams displayed incredible determination and sportsmanship throughout the tournament.

Sheppie High is proud of all of its teams for their hard work and dedication. Stay tuned for more updates on the teams’ progress throughout the season.
