Izotsha Primary School is proud of Matthew Graham-Jolly and Grayson Greco, who have been selected for the Ugu tennis team. They recently participated in an inter-district tournament (Ugu and AmaJuba) in Newcastle.
Thirteen Izotsha cyclists participated in the KZN Schools’ Mountain Bike Series at St. Charles College in Pietermaritzburg, the most entrants participating from one school. Angus Bunge achieved third position in his age group, and several of the school’s cyclists placed in the top 10. The school is exceptionally proud of their efforts.
After a three-week break, a united assembly was recently held, where Yvonne Theunissen welcomed back both staff and learners
The school’s theme for the term, ‘Road to Greatness’, was announced and explained. Each week, the school will focus on a letter from the school’s name. Last week, the school focused on ‘I’ for “Integrity”.
Sports practices began last week with term three codes being athletics, soccer and cross-country in the Intermediate and Senior Phases and netball, hockey and soccer in the Foundation Phase.
