DEAR Editor,-
We have lived in this house for 21 years and have attached photos of our driveway in Port Edward.
I know that it has rained a lot and certain parts of the South Coast were flooded, but this is what our driveway looks like since a building is being erected next door. These people must know people in high places to be allowed to build like this and invade our private driveway and garage where we park our cars. Now our home is in full view of a public road, which means our cars could be broken into, or even worse, stolen! Who will pay for that? Us?
I have photos of the house as well, but would like to spare the owner embarrassment over what has happened, so I do not want to publish his name or photos at this stage. I have been complaining since August 13 and, according to records, the inspectors were only informed on October 16. I ask myself …. really?
