On behalf of the executive committee and members of Port Shepstone and District Andhra Sabha, we would like to express deepest sympathy and heartfelt condolences to the Mandela family, the government, and people of South Africa on the loss of its founding father of our new democracy, Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela.
We echo the sentiments of millions of people, leaders and organisations throughout the world, as we join them in this profound sense of loss and sadness on the death of our legendary and inspirational leader.
We, like many around the world, were greatly influenced and inspired by his commitment to human dignity, equality, justice and freedom, and feel greatly privileged and honoured to have had a leader of such exceptional character and attributes leading us towards a peaceful, democratic South Africa.
Mandela has indeed touched the lives of millions of people around the world and may his legacy live on. May his soul rest in peace.
