Noise pollution deters tourists

This beautiful country's economy will be badly affected by the loss of tourism and I am sure that I am not the only tourist who feels this way.

DEAR Editor,-

I am a German-speaking tourist from Europe and have been visiting the South Coast annually for the past 34 years.

In recent years the noise pollution from sub-woofers has become unbearable and as ratepayers we should be entitled to a reasonable night’s sleep.

I consider this unpoliced activity to be a form of urban terrorism and have no intention of returning for any further extended stays.

This beautiful country’s economy will be badly affected by the loss of tourism and I am sure that I am not the only tourist who feels this way.

Note that I haven’t even mentioned the disastrous potholes!
