‘Facts cannot be argued away’

Illicit perks enjoyed at taxpayers' expense must finally come to an end.

DEAR Editor,-

Now that the general elections take place on May 7, it is time for all discontented taxpayers to vote for a civilised opposition party that has taxpayers’ needs in respect of service delivery at heart.

The ‘struggle’ of the last 20 years for ‘obese’ salaries and other illicit perks, which the ANC councillors have enjoyed at taxpayers’ (of all colours) expense, must finally come to a stop forever.

The ‘non-services provided’ does not fit a civil society.

The above facts (including needless overseas trips, extravagant parties, jazz festivals, etc) cannot be argued away by the ANC supporters.
