‘Thanks for the love and compassion’

It is wonderful to know that there are still people who care.

DEAR Editor,-

I would like to use your letters page to give my grateful thanks to all the dear people who came to my assistance when I had a terrible fall outside the Hibiscus Mall on the afternoon of March 14.

What love and compassion I was shown. They all know who they are and I thank Shawn Felix and his partner Shaliane Naidoo, who took me to a nursing sister for an examination, who then referred me to the Port Shepstone Regional Hospital’s casualty, where I again experienced love and compassion.

It is wonderful to know that people still care. I thank the Lord and may He bless you all. Thank you again.
