‘New words for the SA dictionary’

This sums up governments in general, and ours in particular.

DEAR Editor,-

Your vote gives you the democratic right to change one bunch of proven ‘inepts’ for another bunch of soon-to-be-proven ‘inepts’ to play at governing our country.

An ‘ineptocracy’ is a system of government where the least capable to lead are elected by the least capable of producing, and where the members of society least likely to sustain themselves or succeed, are rewarded with goods and services paid for by the confiscated wealth of a diminishing number of producers.

This sums up governments in general, and ours in particular. We have the added parasitic conjoined twin, ‘kleptocracy’ to ensure that the confiscated wealth goes into select pockets.

I contend that ‘ineptocracy’ and ‘kleptocracy’ should be included in the Political Science course at all universities. What a splendid opportunity for a doctoral thesis.
