‘Licensing department remains unproductive’

If I was not one of the ‘lucky 100’, I would have to report back the next day and repeat the process.

DEAR Editor,-

I stopped off at the Port Shepstone Licensing Department at 1.15pm on Friday, March 6, to obtain license renewal forms.

Although the office was open and there were employees in attendance at counters, there were no ‘customers’. I was informed that I should report to the office before 7am the next morning because only 100 tickets were issued each day and and if I was not one of the ‘lucky 100’, I would have to report back the next day and follow the same routine?

Rather than me commenting further on my alleged conclusion about lack of service delivery and the setting of low self-determined productively levels at the department, I would appreciate an investigation into this matter by a Herald reporter.
