The Oribi Plaza traffic lights intersection is an accident waiting to happen! Large groups of people wait to be picked up to travel north and the barriers have made the situation worse. Cars, trucks and taxis completely block one lane while picking up passengers on this busy main road.
It would not be difficult to put a lay-by there to enable vehicles to pull off the road safely with plenty of space. Alternatively, red ‘No stopping’ lines could be painted and the area policed.
