DEAR Editor,-
During March this year, The South Coast Herald printed an article: ‘Trapped in SA by Home Affairs’.
As at today’s date, nothing has changed in respect of Jon Burton getting his youngest daughter’s vault copy birth certificate. I have emailed the prime minister, the home affairs minister and the deputy home affairs minister without even getting a reply. In the UK at least I would have had the courtesy of a reply!
Don’t government ministers in SA do anything at all to answer emails?
After all, Jon has only been trying for 27 months to get this certificate. My thanks to The Herald for printing the original article.
