The fishermen, dog-walkers and beach residents of Tweni would like to congratulate the municipality staff at the Tweni depot on their quick response in removing a huge tree that had blown over last Monday morning at Toby Lane in Umtentweni.
The tree completely blocked the path to the beach and pulled a telephone cable as it fell, narrowly missing an early morning fisherman. Within hours the staff had removed the tree and cleared a path to the beach.
